Acting Governor Surveyed Pulogebang Terminal

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono does a work visit to the Pulogebang Terminal, Cakung, East Jakarta, Saturday (11/12). It is to directly see and survey the readiness of the largest terminal in South East Asia.

Before being inaugurated, terminal should be crowded, including passenger and peddler

When he arrived at 10 AM, he was welcomed by officials of Jakarta Provincial Government, starting from Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah, Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana and other some officials.

He then continued to survey terminal market on the second floor, CCTV control room that integrated with Jakarta Smart City, ticket counter, terminal head office, as well as passenger waiting room and bus departure place.

He took dialogue with autobus company manager and some passengers. Luckily, until now, the number of passengers is still low.

Sumarsono disclosed that his visit aimed to ensure the terminal condition. Because, on December 20, Indonesian President, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo would inaugurate the terminal as a pilot in Indonesia. But, until now, the terminal is still deserted by passenger and peddler. Hence, he intends to fix it before inauguration day.

"Before being inaugurated, terminal should be crowded, including passenger and peddler," he stated.
